12 Pithikos

Dodekatos Pithikos is from Kalamaria area of Thessaloniki. He has been involved with hip-hop since '96 as a Writer, B-Boy and Mc. Akis, as his real name is, was a member of the first breakdance group in Greece (Freestyle Rockers). In 1997, one of the best years for greek hip-hop, Dodekatos Pithikos and four others from Thessaloniki slowly start recording rap and sharing demos with the limited means the had back then.

In 2001 they released their first LP. A year later the group is dissolved, their audio engineer Krase who had their only recording eqipment goes to America and so they all go continue separately. Dodekatos Pithikos is recording occasionally in Thessaloniki, making efforts with no support from Studios or other related factors.

In 2004 using amateur equipment in a home Studio he records and releases "Poios to Perimene". In 2007 after three years of work and with Krase back in Greece, Dodekatos Pithikos finds the opportunity to work professionally in Dope Beat Studio and so "Mono i Arhi" is realeased in which Krase, BPeis, Pelina and others contributed.

In 2011, "100% Style" is released and its presence is now noticeable, along with the very successful video clip "Ipirhan Pragmata" that made him the hottest persona of hip-hop for 2011-2012.

He has worked on stage with Dilated Peoples, Psycho Realm, BPeis, Tigre Sporakia, Psyhodrama, Phase 3, Voreia Asteria etc.
