Jeph1 & Billy Widz

A sub-heavy duo from Athens, Jeph1 & Billy Widz are DJs & producers, performing mixes in clubs, festivals and on live radio. To fully showcase their favorite sounds, they envisioned & spawned the BIGBANG night, promoting international and local producers & DJs on a bi-monthly basis since November 2011. Both influenced by soundsystem culture, their DJ sets revolve around dark dread rollers & big-bass riddims. Their DJ giglist includes appearances in the same lineups as Mala, Loefah, Pokes (DMZ), Kromestar, Pinch, V.I.V.E.K, Goth-Trad, Joe Nice, Tunnidge, Jack Sparrow, Quantum Soul, Channel One and Vibronics among many others. From October 2011 they have been running the BIGBANG show on Paranoise radio where they showcase the latest sounds along their own dubplates. They are Athens' representatives to Outlook Festival, Europe's biggest bass music & sound system festival in Croatia, having played in 2012 and with an upcoming slot for 2013.
