Rodes United

Rodes United is a Greek band whose sound fuses hip-hop with genres like rock, dub, electronica/trip-hop and folk.

The band formed in the winter of 2002 and 2 years later filled its current lineup of: Νικήτας Κλιντ (Nikitas Klint)/vocals, Σωτήρης Παπαγεωργίου (Sotiris Papageorgiou)/vocals, Νίκος “Ατόφιος” (Nikos “Atofios”)/vocals, Άρης Ζαρακάς (Aris Zarakas)/guitar, Χρήστος Διακουμής (Christos Diakoumis)/drums, Χρήστος Τσάμπουρας (Christos Tsambouras)/guitar, Μάριος Χασαλεύρης (Marios Chasalevris)/bass, Γιώργος Ζουζανέας (Giorgos Zouzaneas)/percussion, Αλέκος Σώρρος (Alekos Sorros)/samplers. In May 2005 the debut album Στη γιορτή της φαντασίας (Sti giorti tis fantasias/In the party of fantasy) was released, followed by next May’s Dual Disc release, Τα πρώτα λεπτά της ολοκαίνουριας ζωής σου (Ta prota lepta tis olokainourgias zois sou/The first minutes of your whole new life) which included the 3 videos released from the debut on the DVD side and an EP on the CD side inluding a new song and 4 remixes.
